Dreams

A couple of dreams, barely remembered.

Dream one: Swamp creatures. I was traveling through a sort of not-really swamp, and an odd one. The landscape was like something out of a dungeon crawl, with nature and old ruined stone buildings for no real reason. In one watery rivery area, there were small sharks swimming around, and once in a while one would come out of the water, showing they had a couple bipedal-like double-kneed legs. There were some seal-like creatures with legs as well, who wanted my help getting past the sharktypes. I somehow distracted the sharkers while remaining unbitten. On my way back to wherever I was before, in a small ruined shell of a building, several hands came out ofthe ground and started grabbing at me. Maybe severed hands, maybe hand-like creatures, maybe something else, whatever. They didn't hurt me, but they kept climbing up me and tried to stay latched on.

Odd? Perhaps.

Dream Second: Double world. Going back and forth against my will in between two worlds. I remember riding my bike in one (I don't have a bike) and meeting talking snakes. The problem was, they only spoke japanese...and mine is horrendous and terribly rusty. There were...ogres? And people I was related to on both sides. Some kind of time-travel must have been involved, because I ran into a family that had an older cousin of mine (who was still a baby when I met them here.) They gave me a spot to sleep for a night, while I was on the run from something I don't know what it was.

That's it.

Japanese ogres? Those are Oni. The japanese word for Ogre also mean Demon.

They weren't japanese ogres...it was just the snakes that spoke japanese.
The ogre-people were more like neanderthalls with some added civilization.

Oh. Nevermind then.
