Aug. 10th, 2004 06:57 pmI'm starting to think my best shot at a job (steady, living-wage-type, not minimum-wage type) will be turning off my brain, or somehow finding a job that both tolerates me and vice-versa (which has so far been a failure.)
Even my interview skills are sad. By the time I can negotiate an interview without coming off as someone to keep away from normal people, I'll be ready for Hollywood, my acting skills will be so polished. I can't look people in the eyes for extended amounts of time without my eyes watering, especially the interviewers I run into, the ones who stare at me all bug-eyed, with eye-whites whiter than their teeth. I can stare in the sun easier than those peoples' eyes! Just the thought is making my eyes water now...
*Blinkblinkblinkblink*
Ahhg, I'm getting one of those time-for-human-genocide feelings again. I don't think I'll be on the computer much tonight...maybe I'll get one of those breathing-thingies and spend a few hours facedown at the bottom of a pool....
