Wake-up call.
Oct. 24th, 2006 02:59 pmI was woken up about...oh...seven this morning. This in itself would not be so bad, had I not gotten to sleep sometime around probably three. This was not the problem.
I was woken up by an unexpected pain in my right toe, and I woke up to check it out. After a second's semicautious probing, I realized I had a nasty ingrown toenail. It took two swiss army knives, a pair of clippers, and the better part of an hour to get around the pus and pain to remove what turned out to be an eighth of an inch long spike of thick toenail from my protesting skin.
I need to find something to do now. There's no way I'm getting back to sleep after that mess.
