*hack* *cough* (.hack//cough?)
Dec. 27th, 2004 06:11 pmMore than half the people on my list wrote what they got for christmas. Sure, why not. I got two things I asked for (and meant) and three things I asked for on my joke list (sort of, but not exactly a tradition at my house. We're supposed to ask for things we would have asked for, but don't actually want so much. The lists got a bit mixed this year). The rest was stuff people thought I needed or liked.
My recieved items were the books Monstrous Regiment and one of the new Myth books (both of which I'd asked for), the third and fourth games in the .hack series (so now I have 1, 3, and 4... >_>;) and Sonic Adventure 2 for gamecube (which were all on my joke list.)
Also a set of sweatclothes (needed), a stick of rock candy (tasty), a campbell's soup wall clock and two cans of soup (white elephant gift), a shirt showing a picture of the galaxy with an arrow and text reading "you are here", a large red book titled Dragonology (cute, but overdone), and a Far Side wall calendar.
Oh yeah, and a really nasty head cold, courtesy of lots of little living things who surrounded me for a while: my relatives at a family event. My head is so clogged right now. I think I've spent more time sick this year than in the last eight put together.
My time was spent with relatives I hadn't seen for most of the year, with the adults watching football and the kids playing sports video games. I spent my time in a corner reading my books. Well, that's done enough for me. My nephews are here now, and I'm going to try and see if they can be quiet while I try to clear my sinuses.
Oh yeah, there will be no monthly meme from me this month. I wasn't online long enough to pick any up that I liked.
