The cat (which I'd finally gotten to like me) was walking badly last night, as though he'd lost control of its hind legs. After wondering if he was sick or something, the vet today confirms that he'd hurt his back. He's been given the equivalent of bed rest, meaning we have to find some kind of low cage about the size of a dinner table for him to live in for the next month.

That's not going to go well, I suspect.
