Back to relative normality. One ten-page paper remains of mid-terms for me to complete.

I've been contemplating what happens to people who have a purpose and who lose it, or live longer than their purpose.

(I've been thinking about lots of things, like Magic cards (made-up and otherwise), various anime, more video games, how to get out of going to relative's birthdays/funerals, friends and their nature, my own paranoia, my report, etc, but the purpose thing has been on top of my mind the last week or two.)

That's assuming people even have a purpose other than personal and species survival, of course.

...what? I'm not writing out what I think about it, not right now anyway. I'm just posting here, I've got a paper to write and revise and rewrite!

When people are done with one purpose, they find another one, or so I think.

And what if they don't, or can't?

That's surprisingly accurate. They also spend far too much time on the net, and/or sleeping.
