It was a dream, I remembered all of it it for a whole five minutes after I woke up. I didn't get to start writing until just now, of course.

A kind of gloomy futuristic setting, with a mostly similar technological set to what we have today, and there were some mutations but only very rarely. I mean, there was an alligator driving a truck, but when he got out, he needed either something resembling a shopping cart to walk upright or else he walked like an alligator. I only saw one of these things, and only the one time. I had to walk through subway tunnels in areas where the trains weren't running, because I wasn't rich.

Some stuff happened.

I took some sort of elevator with seats (and some kind of creature looking like a cross between E.T. and an octopus running it, reading a newspaper) down to a house. In the basement of the house I met a man from 23000 years ago who wanted me and some others to gather some information. Of some kind.

Then I met a guy from atlantis (and 40200 years ago) who gave us the information and asked how Atlantis was doing, since he'd left it so long ago. I started to mumble something, and one of my companions (who I recall had been acting like a jerk the whole time) started sobbing.

I'm always annoyed when I can't remember all of a dream.

I know exactly what you mean. I can usually remember a majority of a dream, but I often have to rack my brain just to try and remember the rest of it and it's usually the most important or the main parts of the dream that messes me up.

At least it wasn't a nightmare! I still can't get rid of those nightmares I had while in that induced comma from last year. I guess it's really haunting me because they were nightmares I couldn't wake up from.
